As GLAD Law’s Senior Manager of Organizational Culture and Community Partnerships, Qwin spearheads GLAD Law’s engagements with various constituencies within and outside the LGBTQ+ community across New England, and stewards GLAD Law’s internal culture work, particularly with regard to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
In addition to their work at GLAD Law, Qwin is a board member at the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project and the Boston Women’s Fund.
Prior to joining GLAD Law Qwin devoted her career to human rights awareness and equality with a focus on LGBTQI human rights in Uganda and East Africa, and around the world.
Qwin’s experience ranges from grassroots mobilization, multi-operation coordination, pride, Queer film festival organizing, and front-line activism. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Makerere University and when she’s not volunteering, Qwin enjoys reading crime and detective books.
